Gyeongcheon Lake is typical valley type reservoir
made by blocking Geumcheon, the branch stream of
Nakdong River, and clean, deep and wide. Starting
the construction on June 1983, it was completed
in December of 1986 at the cost of 602 million won
after 3 years and 6 months. The length of bank is
368m, height is 63.5m, and maximum depth is 57m.
The total amount of storage is 28,220thousand ton.
It provides water for farming to physical area 3,400ha
in 76 ri/dong, 9 eup/myeon of Moongyeong and Yecheon.
