Located in Bongamsa, also called as Okseokdae. The
Maebosaljwasang engraved on the surface of granite
rock is appointed to Local tangible cultural asset.
Jijeungdaesa built Bongamsa in the 5th year of the
King Heungang in the age of Shilla (AD 879) and
it is famous as one of Shilla Gusanseonmun. As well
as the 3-story stone pagoda that is the 169th treasure,
9 cultural assets, Heeyang Mountain (998m) with
great cliff and Bongamsa Valley are nationally famous.
It is opened only at the Buddha¡¯s birthday, Dongamgeo
and Haangeo.
